The Homeless Garden Project offers job training and transitional employment to people who are homeless in the therapeutic context of an organic garden and related enterprises. The flowers and vegetables grown on our farm are sold through Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) in which "Shareholders" pay up front for a weekly basket of produce during the 22-week growing season; for information about becoming a member, call 426-3609-2#. This supports a portion of the wages, guarantees that everything grown will be sold, and builds a community of support. Pick your Own Produce: Fresh organic produce that you harvest yourself. Choose from a menu of crops available each day including flowers, onions, kale, salad mix, herbs and vegetables. Come harvest and pay per item. Also operates the Women's Organic Flower Enterprise, which trains women in the design and production of wreaths and beeswax candles. HGP operates a gift shop which features products made in the training programs.
