| Description: | The Santa Cruz Group of the Sierra Club provides monthly programs and outings, and serves as a voice for the local environments of Santa Cruz County. The Santa Cruz Group offers residents opportunities to join together with other environmentally-conscious people to explore the coast, foothills and forests of the local region.
Local conservation issues are pursued by volunteers who are willing to devote time and energy to specific issues. In addition to its local efforts, the Santa Cruz Group serves as a link to the Ventana Chapter and the national Sierra Club for those seeking information or for those who are interested in supporting the Club's environmental efforts at the regional and national level. FEES: Annual membership fee-basic $15-100. Lower cost for students, seniors and those on fixed income. | ||
