| Description: | Open every day except Christmas and Thanksgiving. Open for self-guided tours every day, 9am-5pm. Phone hours Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. A docent-lead tour, free with paid admission, is available on the first Saturday of each month at 11am. The Arboretum is a living museum inspiring stewardship of the world's biodiversity through research, education, and the conservation of rare, endangered, and extraordinary plants. Norrie's Gift and Garden Shop sells unique gifts for the home and garden, flowering and landscaping plants, dried flowers, wreaths, books. Norrie's is open every day 10-4.
FEES: $5 adults, $2 children between 6-17 years. Free to Arboretum members, children under 6 years, UCSC students. The first Tuesday of every month is Community Day, where no admission is charged. If you are only shopping at Norrie's rather than visiting the garden, there is no admission fee. FUNDING SOURCE: A self-supporting branch of UCSC, the collections are supported by memberships in the Friends of the Arboretum, annual Fall and Spring Plant Sales, annual Gift and Wreath Sale, proceeds from Norrie's Gift and Garden Shop, admission fees, and support from our donors. | ||
| Facilities: | Indoor facility holds 80 (-90) sitting and 110 standing average $350, Outdoor facility for both intimate and large-scale events average $750. Each event is unique, and pricing is dependent on scale of event. Email arboretum@ucsc.edu for details.

| Meetings: | The Arboretum Associates board meets every month. The annual members' meeting is held in September.

| Volunteer Info: | Volunteers help in the gardens, work hard and have fun learning about and caring for plants from all over the world. Help is also needed in the library, the gift shop, and leading tours.
