Description:Youth Services is a youth and family counseling agency that supports young people in maintaining positive roles in their family and community by providing culturally relevant, positive solutions to difficult situations. Youth Services counselors respond to crises related to emotional distress, family conflict, alcohol and drug use, gang involvement, school, suicide, homeless youth and running away. In addition to individual, group, and family counseling, various support groups are available to parents and youth on anger management, petty theft, parenting issues, and recovery from drugs or alcohol. Drug treatment is available free of charge to adolescents (12-17). In collaboration with the County Office of Education, Youth Services operates the YES Recovery High school in Santa Cruz and the Escuela Quetzal Counseling high school in Watsonville. Tyler House is a 6-month residential drug and alcohol treatment program for young people.

ELIGIBILITY: Youth (3-20) and their families living in Santa Cruz County are eligible for our counseling services.

FEES: Sliding scale fees, Medi-Cal accepted.
Programs:Transition Age Youth Programs serve current and former foster and probation placement youth ages 15-24. We provide an array of programs and services including counseling, skills building, a resource center, and subsidized supportive housing. Our mission is to support and empower youth in making a healthy transition into successful adulthood.
