| Description: | The Neighborhood Services Division reinforces the City's commitment to building strong neighborhoods through programs designed to increase communication between residents and city government, enhance community pride, encourage civic awareness and participation, and provide more effective coordination among City departments to address neighborhood needs. Realizing that quality of life concerns can be most effectively resolved at the neighborhood level, the City of Watsonville is committed to providing neighborhoods and individuals with the tools to develop their capacity to address their own concerns.

| Programs: | The Neighborhood Watch Program is a community based organization of neighborhood residents working together with the Watsonville Police Department and the Neighborhood Services Division to prevent crime.
Graffiti Removal Program Residents can call 728-6133, 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, to report graffiti. Graffiti cleanup kits are available for anyone who wants to help. Neighborhood Cleanups provide litter pick-up sticks, bags, gloves and safety vests. The Neighborhood Development Program is a two-year plan in which two neighborhoods have been chosen to receive intensified City services: Neighborhood Mediation Program to resolve neighborhood disputes, a collaboration between the City of Watsonville and the nonprofit Conflict Resolution Center of Santa Cruz County (CRC). | ||
