| Description: | Summers: 8am-8pm, 7 days a week June-August.
Operates Camp Krem, a summer residential camp, and a travel camping program for developmentally disabled children and adults. People with all types of disabilities are accepted, though most participants are developmentally or mentally disabled. The program stresses independence and freedom of choice, and offers recreational and educational activities including arts and crafts, music, drama, field trips, and special events. We offer six, ten and twelve day sessions throughout the summer months. Weekend programs are also available during the year. Affiliated with Camping Unlimited. American Camping Association site and program approved. Camping Unlimited also provides year-around weekend programs, extended respites and day excursions for children and adults with disabilities. These events are regional center funded. ELIGIBILITY: Open to people ages 5-50 with developmental or mental disabilities. | ||
