| Description: | Vision Recycling has a great deal of expertise in the field of Green Waste Management, Recycled Green Waste sales, and Outside Grinding Services. Our operation has extensive focus on staying close to established Standard Operating Procedures, which we refer to as our BMP's (Best Management Practices). Our existing management team has a fine reputation for extraordinary customer service and outstanding technical expertise in the field of Green Waste Recycling and Composting.
In 1997 Vision Recycling secured a contract for the County of Santa Cruz. The company has expanded to 4 grinders, 2 large tromell screens, a host of wheel loaders & excavators, 3 Semi-Truck & Trailer units, 3 water vehicles, and a mulch coloring machine. We currently operate three other facilities on a turn-key service basis. We also provide mobile services to many other landfill operations in all parts of Northern California. In total we now process over 200,000 tons of products per year. In 2008 the company virtually derailed a substantial movement to regionally centralize composting in Santa Cruz to a site in another County. Vision Recycling stepped in to partner with SC County and has proposed to build a "State of the Art" compost facility and to fund the capital through RMDZ funding as it has in the past, with repayment from commercial sales, as it should be.
| Programs: | Customers can pick up materials at the Buena Vista Landfill, 1231 Buena Vista Drive in Watsonville, or the Ben Lomond Transfer Station, 9835 Newell Creek Road in Ben Lomond. Just ask one of the Vision Employees wearing a safety vest to load your truck for you, free of charge. Those who hand load mulch or compost need to provide their own tools such as a shovel and container.
All vehicles must have their loads covered. For more information on our recycled products and location times and directions, check the website: Compost Wood Chips Mulch Colored Mulch Organic Soil Amendment
