| Description: | EcoFarm is a non-profit educational organization founded in 1981. The Ecological Farming Association nurtures healthy and just farms, food systems, communities and environment by bringing people together for education, alliance building and advocacy.

| Programs: | Through educational conferences, training programs, on-farm events and communications initiatives, we pursue a safe and healthful food system that strengthens soils, protects air and water, encourages diverse ecosystems and economies, and honors rural life.
EcoFarm Conference: The multi-day conference yields myriad opportunities for over 1,500 participants to network with colleagues, discover the newest ecological agricultural research and techniques, and build, both individually and as a community. Hoes Down Harvest Festival: This two-day celebration of the harvest season offers an opportunity to enjoy rural life on an organic family farm with educational tours, workshops, hay rides, food, music, kid's arts and crafts, nature walks, storytelling, games, a petting zoo, and terrific contests. Other all ages activities include hands-on workshops, craft booths, farmers' market, farm tours, dancing, and much more. The Heartland Project strengthens the future of sustainable and family farming in the San Joaquin Valley by bringing together farmers and families and encouraging a closer understanding of food production. The Ecological Farming Association's Water Stewardship Project provides education and outreach materials about implementing on-farm water conservation measures. The California Climate and Agriculture Network (CalCAN)is committed to being the voice for climate-friendly farming in California. Founded in response to an urgent call for ecologically-sustainable agriculture practices that reduce farming-related greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and prepare farmers to cope with the coming challenges of climate change, CalCAN is a coalition that advances policies to support
