A 30-40 minute program. 427-7707 x5720 Homework Help Thursdays 4-6:00pm Free homework assistance in Young People's Room on 2nd floor. Bilingual assistance available. No appointment is necessary. Open to students grades 12 and under. Tales to Tails Every Saturday 10:00-11:30am Trained therapy dogs will be available at the Library to be attentive, non-judgmental reading partners for children reading aloud. Children have individual 20-minute time slots to sit with a dog and read. Public Internet Access - Adults 15 internet terminals with one hour time limit; printing is $.15 per page Teen Self Help Collection Test Proctoring - Closed Book Closed book tests at the Central Branch are proctored by Youth Services staff. Contact: Youth Services Staff (831-427-7713 x5720) Test Proctoring - Online Exams and Open Book Contact: Reference Supervisor (831-427-7713) Text Enlarger No reservations are required, but you must know how to use the equipment. Please contact Pam Downing to set up an appointment for instruction and to verify the capabilities of the equipment. Wireless Internet Access Word Processing - Adults Two PCs are available for use during all open hours. The PCs have Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint--but no internet access. Patrons can sign in for a two hour session on the PC (there is no reservation system). Work may be saved to the patrons own thumb drive or floppy diskette. Homework Centers: 9 terminals with one hour time limit Internet access, word processing, educational games, headphones. Limited to ages 18 and under. First 10 pages printed free (K-12 homework only), $.15 per page thereafter. Microfilm Readers The Central Library Book Discussion Group meets monthly.
