| Description: | Answering service will provide information on places and times for local meetings, etc. Al-Anon is a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who meet to share their experience, strength and hope and to learn about alcoholism. Informal, self-supporting self-help meetings based on the twelve-step format which offers coping skills in dealing with alcoholism. Alateen groups are for ages 12-20. Alapreteen groups for children ages 6-12. Gay and lesbian groups available.
