| Description: | CDRC maintains the only complete up-to-date database of child care programs and providers in Santa Cruz County. Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies (CCR&R) uses NACCRRAware, a software program, to generate lists of child care centers and homes. Lists are then mailed to families searching for quality child care. The child care agencies chosen are determined by the parents' specific requests and are randomly selected by NACCRRAware. This method of selection gives each child care center or home an equal opportunity to be chosen as one of the facilities suggested to parents searching for child care in their local area.

Child care centers and family child care homes that are licensed by the State of California, Community Care Licensing Division may be listed in our Referral Database. Programs that are license-exempt such as afterschool programs, parks and recreation programs and adult-education parent co-op preschools may also be listed. The listings are limited to programs within Santa Cruz County.
