| Description: | Companion for Life / Lifeline Project is a Central Coast nonprofit program that leases Philips Lifeline Medical Alert Service on a month-to-month basis to seniors, the disabled and homebound individuals. Whenever a subscriber needs emergency services or the assistance of a family member or friend, with just a touch of a button, Philip Lifeline's trained Personal Response Associates will connect them with help, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Generally, help is on the way within three to five minutes. Companion for Life is a project of the Emergency Response Systems of Central Coast Counties.
LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH: Multiple languages are available and require the use of non-Philips Lifeline associates. ELIGIBILITY: All individuals who need the service and can afford the monthly leasing fee. FEES: $60 One time installation fee and $33 per month. Sliding pay scale available for qualifying individuals. AREAS SERVED: Santa Cruz County, San Benito County and North Monterey County only. | ||
