Description:Your local ACLU Chapter consists of over a dozen volunteers who regularly meet to plan and execute activities. Donations to our modest yearly budget will increase our ability to provide the community with information on civil liberties issues. We greatly appreciate your contribution and will put it to effective use. You are welcome to attend our monthly Board meetings to learn how the budget is used. There are links for state and national ACLU websites on our local website.

Programs:The ACLU National Drug Law Reform Project (DLRP) relocated to Santa Cruz in March 2005. The DLRP conducts litigation and public education nationwide to challenge civil liberties and civil rights violations arising from current drug laws and policies, known as the "war on drugs".
