| Description: | Breathe California Central Coast (BCCC) is dedicated to preventing lung disease, promoting lung health, and protecting air quality for all people living in the Central Coast Counties of Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Luis Obispo. We accomplish this through education, research, and advocacy. Education includes responding community requests for information and referrals, outreach programs dedicated to educating underserved populations, and training volunteers to become health educators. Research includes providing funding for clinical studies and statistical evaluations of our education programs. Advocacy includes support of local, state, and federal public policy that promotes lung health and air quality.
