| Description: | Provides library services to the general public. Circulates books, magazines, music CDs, CD-ROMS, audio cassettes, large-print books and dvds. Mondays 10:30am, call to confirm For toddlers 1-3 years, a 20-25 minute program. Homework Help Thursdays 3:30-5:30 In conjunction with the Santa Cruz County Office of Education, the Santa Cruz Public Libraries are offering free homework assistance at 6 branches. Each Homework Help site is supervised by a California-certified teacher. There is at least one bilingual person at each location. No appointment is necessary. Open to students grade 12 and under. Public Internet Access - Adults 6 internet terminals with one hour time limit; printing is $.15 per page Public Internet Access - Kids 2 internet terminals for kids 17 and under; first 10 pages printed free (for homework use only) Test Proctoring - Open Book Wireless Internet Access Word Processing Aptos Youth Chess Club (3:30-4:30pm) Location: Aptos Branch Come play and learn the game with Aptos Library's Chess Master, Dana Mackenzie, for ages 6 and up. | ||
