| Description: | Includes an adult reading room, a young adult room, a story time area, and a homework center. The new building features Craftsman-Style design, public art, beautiful views of Corcoran Lagoon, and even a few elements from the old branch--such as the stained glass which hangs above the Reference Desks.
Provides services to children and adults. Circulates books, magazines, videos and audio tapes. Provides reference materials and programming, including story hour, Summer Reading Program and evening programs. A monthly calendar of library events is available at no charge. ELIGIBILITY: Residents of Santa Cruz County. Adults must show photo ID, proof of address needed or card will be mailed. FEES: $.15 copy for printing, first 10 pages for homework is free. | ||

Each Homework Help site is supervised by a California-certified teacher. There is at least one bilingual person at each location. No appointment is necessary. Open to students grade 12 and under. Homework Centers 7 terminals with one hour time limit Internet access, word processing, educational games, headphones Limited to ages 18 and under First 10 pages printed free (K-12 homework only), $.15 per page thereafter Public Internet Access - Adults 9 internet terminals with one hour time limit; printing is $.15 per page Teen Self Help Collection Wireless Internet Access Word Processing - Adults Microsoft Word and other Office software applications are available for public use.
