| Description: | The Monterey Bay Recorder Society, local chapter of the American Recorder Society, encourages recorder playing as a shared social experience. We meet regularly to play in large-group meetings, directed by a variety of professional musicians as well as in self-directed small consorts and casual get-togethers. Come enjoy this instrument which has been in use for over a thousand years! We encourage everyone interested in early music and the musical pleasures of ensemble playing to attend a meeting.
ELIGIBILITY: All levels of proficiency are welcome to join. FEES: $45/year individual, $85/year couples. First meeting is free. | ||
