Cognitive learning, including critical reading, writing and speaking skills, scientific and mathematical investigation, research and problem solving. Experiential learning including outdoor education, performances, life labs, service learning, interviews, domestic and international travel. These learning processes engage students, encouraging curiosity, building self-confidence and supporting the discovery of their gifts and talents. Mount Madonna School is a PreK through 12th grade, fully-accredited independent school. The rigorous, college preparatory curriculum meets or exceeds the standards of our country's finest colleges and universities. runs July 8-August 2, 2013 Monday-Friday, 9:00am-3:30pm 4-week program: register for one, two, three, or all four weeks. Taught by MMS faculty members Jenni Leach, Hema Walker and Isa Stead, this program is designed for students entering grades 1st through 8th. Four weeks of cognitive, experiential and reflective learning in a nurturing, engaging and active environment. Each week children will engage in exploring, discovering, and creating.
