| Description: | This volunteer fire department responds to all emergency calls including vehicle accidents, fire calls, and emergency medical services. Will provide public assistance in emergency situations such as watermain leaks. Swiftwater rescue team. Provide routine classes in fire prevention, and hazard reduction for wildlands. Station is open to the public, please call ahead of time.
AREAS SERVED: Extends from south Highway 9 to twin bridges toward Felton and north on Highway 9 to Pike Drive towards Brookdale. Quail Hollow Road, to Alba Road, 1 mile from Empire Grade. Serves approximately 7 square miles, 7000 residents. | ||
