| Description: | Free General information regarding immigration topics. We help with INS and consular inquiries, applications for permanent residence, replacement green cards, citizenship, relative visa petitions adjustment of status, lost green cards, temporary permits, Family Unity, free income tax assistance, Border Patrol abuse monitoring, attorney referrals, workplace discrimination complaints, Deferred Action/Accion Diferida, information on worker and resident rights.
In-service training for nonprofit agencies, and public educational workshops are offered on immigrant topics. All residents receiving SSI or non-assisted food stamps, wishing to apply for SSI, or disabled or elderly will receive free assistance with their citizenship application. ELIGIBILITY: Low-income residents and workers in Santa Cruz County. No limitations for citizenship services. | ||
