| Description: | The Road Design section of the Transportation Division is responsible for design work of various County transportation capital improvement projects, as well as storm damage road repair projects and bridge rehabilitation projects. A staff of five engineers and technicians are responsible for preparing plans and specifications for construction projects as well as providing input in updating the annual Capital Improvement Program. The section is also responsible for various state and federal grant requests for roadway rehabilitation and reconstruction projects.
