|Description:||Become ocean safe, learn about the local environment and have fun. The Junior Lifeguard program is a unique and challenging aquatic program for young people ages 6-15, in which the promotion of water safety and environmental awareness are the primary goals. Held at Seacliff and Twin Lakes Beaches.

ELIGIBILITY: Boys and Girls 6-15 years old (6-8 years old Seacliff Only). First time applicants must demonstrate a continuous 100 yard swim, treading water 2 or 3 minutes and a 10-yard under water swim.(6-8 year olds are required half of the lengths above).
FEES: limited amount of tuition assistance is available upon request, call or see website for details.
