| Description: | Become ocean safe, learn about the local environment and have fun. The Junior Lifeguard program is a unique and challenging aquatic program for young people ages 6-15, in which the promotion of water safety and environmental awareness are the primary goals. Held at Seacliff and Twin Lakes Beaches.
See website for detailed rules and regulations and the form to sign-up. ELIGIBILITY: Boys and Girls 6-15 years old (6-8 years old Seacliff Only). First time applicants must demonstrate a continuous 100 yard swim, treading water 2 or 3 minutes and a 10-yard under water swim.(6-8 year olds are required half of the lengths above). FEES: limited amount of tuition assistance is available upon request, call or see website for details. | ||
