|Description:||The highest priorities are defending the right of seniors to live in peace and comfort, and to enjoy decent housing, quality health care, financial security, social integration, security of their persons and property, and freedom from discrimination based on age or disability. Emphasizing: age discrimination, consumer problems, debt collection defense, health insurance, housing problems (such as landlord/tenant relations, mobile home park issues and foreclosure). Medicare and Medi-Cal, nursing homes, residential care facilities, elder abuse, Social Security, SSI, VA, patient rights, conservatorship and guardianship of minor children.
Outreach services for disabled clients living at home, in the hospital, or in a nursing home are available.
