| Description: | The Embroiderers' Guild Of America is an international organization that promotes the study and practice of the art of needle work. Our chapter is part of the Greater Pacific Region (GPR), which covers Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, and British Columbia.
The meetings are typically hand-on stitching programs. You can learn the technique/project being taught or bring your own stitchign and on it. We have a show and tell time so we can see what everyone is working on; there is always time to visit and share your interests with other stitchers. We have several programs during the year includaing a birthday part for the chapter each January, a summer potluck in June, and a holiday potluck in December. We also offer workshops outside of our regular meetings that provide a more in-depth study of technique and design. FEES: The annual dues for SBTS in 2012 are $55. This includes membership in the national EGA organization (www.egausa.org) and our region (www.ega-gpr.org), GPR. If you are already a member of EGA, you may join as a plural member and pay a portion of the dues. | ||
