| Description: | Provides library services for all ages in English and Spanish. Offers children's storytimes, reference services, large print books, videos and cd's, class visits, children's books, Spanish language material, Literacy Program, novels, audiobooks, local history, internet access, computer lab, Wi-Fi, Californiana and magazines. Wheelchair accessible study tables.
LibraryLink Delivery Service provides library material to people who cannot easily leave their homes. Patrons whose access to the library is limited and who are residents of the Watsonville Public Library service area can receive regular, pre-arranged visits usually on a monthly basis. Screened volunteers deliver and pick up library materials especially chosen to match patron preferences. ELIGIBILITY: Open to all, valid ID with current residence required to get library card. | Programs: | The Watsonville Public Library has a literacy program to help people who want to learn to read and write called "Opportunity to Read." Volunteers are trained to work one-to-one with a person who wants to learn to read or write. The literacy program is located next to the Main Library at 275 Main St.

| Facilities: | The Watsonville Public Library's meeting and conference rooms may be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis for meetings of community groups and events of an informational, educational or cultural nature.
Meetings/events may be held during the following hours: Monday–Thursday 10am–7:30pm and Friday 10am–5:30pm Meeting Room - 78 people (chairs only) 48 people (tables and chairs) - includes chairs, tables, kitchenette, and AV system (Wi-Fi, audio, etc.) Conference Room - 10 people - includes a white board, 10 chairs and a conference table (no AV hookups) | ||
| Volunteer Info: | Minimum Age: 15. Volunteers are responsible for shelving incoming library materials and assisting circulation staff with various clerical duties. Also need volunteers for the Literacy Program. | ||
