Open Tuesday through Friday, 9am-12pm & 1-4pm Open the second Saturday of each month, 9am-11am Information and links to community services on a drop-in basis, Second Harvest food distribution site, community health screening, official Metro ticket agency, family home visits, parent education classes and various other support groups, civic engagement, leadership development and volunteer opportunities. | Mission: | The mission of the Live Oak Family Resource Center (LOFRC) is to improve the quality of life and strengthen the individuals and families of Live Oak while promoting a safe and healthy community. This is accomplished by:
Connecting and providing people with resources and services, supporting opportunities for personal and cultural exchange, helping residents to thrive by helping themselves and each other. The Live Oak Family Resource Center is a friendly place where all people of all cultures are welcomed and respected. | ||
| Programs: | Parent education programs in English and Spanish include: parenting education and support groups (including Positive Discipline classes and workshops) and infant/toddler play groups for parents and their children.
Tutoring, youth and teen programs, car seat program, and Roots & Wings program supporting resource families. | ||
