Samuel Leask, Sr. at 99 years of age, winding a grandfather clock. In 1892, Leask acquired the Seaside Store, which became Leask's Department Store. In 1899 he was appointed to a committee which was to acquire funding for a public library building from the Carnegie Corporation. He died in 1964.
