The Festival of the Book Returns...
Sunday, July 29, 1pm - 4pm
at Harvey West Park in Santa Cruz
Come celebrate books, reading, and the end of "Dream Big - Read!".
Join us for a fun afternoon of food, music, and books! Musical entertainment will be provided by Dressed in Roses and Salsa Rueda will dance for us. We'll have craft and reading activities, and a visit from one of our friends from Tales to Tails!
Kids Only Booksale, 1pm - 4pm at the Park Clubhouse
The booksale is offered by the Friends of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries to raise money for Library Youth Services.
Picnic Lunch, 1pm - 3:30pm
Anyone who has earned at least one dollar will receive a free picnic lunch. Others will be charged a nominal fee for lunch.
Redeem Booklets for Dollars, 1pm - 4pm
The best place to redeem your booklets for dollars is at a library branch. Redeem your booklets at a branch by Sunday,
July 29. You can also bring your booklets to the Festival and redeem them there--we'll be limited to the "cash" we have on hand!
